New Jersey Nets 96, Cleveland Cavaliers 85

Blogged under The NBA Playoffs, Bloglockers, Game recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Monday 14 May 2007 at 12:47 am

The Cavaliers just didn’t want this basketball game as bad as the Nets did and it showed on the court. Amazingly, the Nets outrebounded the Cavs 43-30 and that should never happen! Larry Hughes led the way for the Cavs with 23 points and 4 rebounds. LeBron James was busy with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Drew Gooden (12 points, 4 rebounds) and Zydrunas Ilgauskas (11 points, 8 rebounds) were both a little soft on Saturday and that hurt the Cavs. Sasha Pavlovic had a rough night with 8 points in 32 minutes. The Cavs are still up 2-1 in this series.
