Defense causes Cavs to lose 101-98 to Knicks

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Thursday 30 November 2006 at 11:12 pm

The Cavs allowed the Knicks to shoot 52.9% from the floor and the Cavs were settling for too many jumpers on offense, and those two things combined to cause the Cavs to lose.

LeBron James had a decent game with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Drew Gooden scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had a good game with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Eric Snow did a good job of directing the attack with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Shannon Brown and Anderson Varejao each added 10 points to the cause.

The Cavs fell to 9-6 on the season with this loss.
